The Annual Ga Mmabesi-a-Kgama Cultural Festival is an event commissioned to Promote, Preserve and Celebrate the Heritage of Ba Ga Mmangwato in Serowe. The festival strives to provide the opportunity for people of Serowe with varying backgrounds to come together and explore the many aspects of particular traditions and cultures with a particular emphasis on Ngwato tradition and culture. The history behind the birth of one of Botswana’s greatest dynasties and how it has contributed to the building of current day Botswana.
