Germany’s Rhineland-Palatinate Youth Orchestra perform at Maitisong Theatre on Saturday 6 October at 19:00. Their programme includes works by South African composer Hendrik Hofmeyr, Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff and Ludwig von Beethoven. The concert will be conducted by South Africa’s Albert Horne, with Megan-Geoffrey Prins as the soloist. As an added bonus, this concert will also include a historic collaboration between the Youth Orchestra and the Gaborone Youth Singers.
